Are good images that important?

Yes! They are critical to attract customers and support your shop images

  • If you in general like to do photos yourselves, that can be OK.
  • There are also more options than ever, to collect a series of stock photos suitable to support your products in the best possible way.
  • Maybe you also have the option to work with a photographer to support with photos of some of your signature products.

If you would like help collect a series of proper images or to amendment current images, please let us know.

We recommend at least 3 npw you are at it

  • In case you already ordered more templates earlier, please go ahead and order one.
  • Please notice that the price for installation and setting is that same whether one or many.

I would like ongoing support – is that an option?

We offer 3 different options

Even though we help and guide during implementation, you might wish to have the option for online support that you can use as questions arise.
You can sign-up for support at any time.

The support packages include:

  • Help and support if issues related to templates.
  • Help and support on template settings.
  • Support in regards to installation of printers related to print of templates.

The support packages does not include:

  • Other PC or .CWS support related issues.


Cancellation

The support packages are invoiced once a month and minimum period is 3 months.
After 3 months you are free to cancel at any time. (For the cancellation to take effect from the next month please let us know before the 20. in the present month.)

Is implementation outside working hours an option?

Yes. It is not a problem 

Most of our customers are busy business owners. If you can’t manage to find a quiet moment during official working hours, we can agree on having your solution set-up in the evening or at weekends.

Simply let us know when we arrange for the actual installation.

Our recommendations regarding the number of templates in your first time order

From a size perspective:

  1. One for the products in the counter. (A7, Business Card, Plastic Card).
  2. An A5 or A4 to be used as flyers for customers.
  3. 2-3 B2 posters (if you can print those), otherwise an A3 for street facing promotion.

From a flexibility/variation perspective:

  1. For the food in the counter, a variation with and and without body text can be useful.
  2. An A5 or A4 to be used as flyers for customers.
  3. If you are able to print B2 posters, an option with a single product template and at least one template variation with more products.

What are the recommendation regarding image sizes?

51 x 34 cm / 51 x 76,5 cm

To get the best results, and also avoid stretching and similar, we recommend:

  • That you only use high resolution images.
  • That you upload landscape images in a 51 x 34 cm sized format (1,5 x 1). (Most of our templates with images are setup for landscape.)
  • Portrait images are uploaded in a 51 x 76,5 cm (1 x 1,5). (Currently only one B2 template is developed for this format.)

By doing so, the images will fit all sizes set up with images, from A5 paper to B2 posters.

What are the recommendations regarding product descriptions?

Be systematic

For you to get the highest leverage of your investment in the scale solution, we recommend that you go through the texts you have, or would like to have, for each of the products and various product fields.

Our templates are set to use specific fields. If you follow our recommendations for characters and settings for those fields, you are on your way for maximum leverage.

Why does a template have that price level?

It takes time and skills to develop

There are 3 main steps to setup a template.

  1. Preparation of settings for each field in the template.
  2. Programming of each template in .CWS.
  3. Installation and setting on your pc. (Is optional.)

And there is no easy way around. It takes time and skills to prepare and install.

However, you will experience the real benefits in your daily work, with new options, flexibility and time saving.

Will my print look exactly as the template examples I ordered from?

There is seldom a 100% match to our examples

The print result mainly depends on:

  • The length of the textfields inputs you have entered into the fields in your database
  • The image quality and sizes you have in your database
  • The type of printers you use
  • The calibration and quality of your printers

As you might have noticed in the past, getting the same colors on print as you see on the screen can be quite a challenge. Colors look one way on one screen and can look very different on another.

But it not only depends on your screen quality. It also depends on your printer – quality, calibration, resolution, settings and also paper quality.
In our templates we have picked the colors to accommodate with these challenges the best possible way.
